    On 29/12/2018, the ‘Library of Latin Texts – Series B’ has been updated with the complete text of Erasmus' Adagia, major exegetical works of Denis the Carthusian, a great part of the 'opera omnia' written by the French theologian Jean Gerson, and translations from Greek works by the Italian Humanist Francesco Filelfo, etc. The present version of the LLT-B contains a total of more than 45 million words spread over 6,868 works (including 5,804 diplomatic charters).

    On 29/12/2018, the 'Library of Latin Texts – Series A’ has been updated. The focus was on Peter Abelard's philosophical works and on Meister Eckhart's and Martin Luther's Latin writings. This update also includes translations of Proclus by William of Moerbeke, works of Tyconius, Bonaventure and the XIIth century mystic Elisabeth of Schönau. The present version of the LLT-A contains a total of more 83 million words spread over 4,124 works.

    We are glad to announce that the second and final installment (Latin and Oriental Fathers, Apocryphal texts) of ‘Répertoire des traductions françaises des Pères de l’Église’ (RTF) is now available on www.brepolis.net. All translations into French of works of the Greek, Latin and Oriental Fathers, including excerpts, are listed.

  • On 07/12/2014, the ‘Library of Latin Texts – Series A’ has been updated
    This update includes several corpora of early Christian hymns (Late Antiquity and Early Middle Ages), new texts of Jan Hus, Jerome of Prague and the Hussite reform cause, as well as works of Alcuin, Alain de Lille, Peter of Celle, Richard of Saint Victor and many others. The present version of the LLT-A contains a total of more than 74 million words spread over 3.625 works.
