  • On 22/12/2016, the ‘Aristoteles Latinus Database’ has been updated
    In addition to translations of Aristotelian texts (such as the ‘translatio noua’ of the ‘Physica’ by William of Moerbeke), it includes other texts that have shaped the study of the Latin Aristotle: the corpus of Latin translations of Greek commentaries and texts that were closely associated with the ‘Corpus Aristotelicum’, such as the ‘Liber sex principiorum’. The present version of the ALD contains a total of more than 2.3 million words spread over 110 works.

  • On 22/12/2016, the ‘Library of Latin Texts – Series B’ has been updated.
    This update includes some major scholastic works (of Alexander of Hales, John Wycliffe, Henry of Ghent, Denis the Carthusian, and others), the two first volumes of the ‘Registres’ of Innocent III, as well as an important corpus of liturgical works (taken from the ‘Spicilegioum Friburgense’). The present version of the LLT-B contains a total of more than 36.4 million words spread over 6,705 works (including 5,804 diplomatic charters).

  • On 22/12/2016, the ‘Database of Latin Dictionaries’ has been updated.
    In 2016, the DLD has been updated with the Dictionary of Medieval Latin from British sources, the most comprehensive dictionary of Medieval Latin and the first to focus on British Medieval Latin. On 22/12/2016, the Lexicon Philosophicum by Johannes Micraelius, one of the most important 17th century philosophical dictionary written in Latin was also included. The DLD now contains 20 dictionaries.

    On 01/12/2016, the ‘Library of Latin Texts – Series A’ has been updated. This update includes works written by Isidore of Seville, Rabanus Maurus, Hugh of Saint Victor, Ramon Lull and others. An important part of the correspondence of Pope Honorius III and all of the correspondence of the Benedictine monk Peter of Celle are now available. Finally, several Neo-Latin works of Joachim du Bellay and Martin Opitz have been added. The present version of the LLT-A contains a total of more than 78,8 million words spread over 3 854 works.

  • On 07/12/2014, the ‘Library of Latin Texts – Series A’ has been updated
    This update includes several corpora of early Christian hymns (Late Antiquity and Early Middle Ages), new texts of Jan Hus, Jerome of Prague and the Hussite reform cause, as well as works of Alcuin, Alain de Lille, Peter of Celle, Richard of Saint Victor and many others. The present version of the LLT-A contains a total of more than 74 million words spread over 3.625 works.
