  • The Database of Latin Dictionaries has been updated
    The Database of Latin Dictionaries has been updated on 2/12/2019. New additions include 'A Lexicon of Latin Grammatical Terminology' by Samantha Schad (Pisa/Rome, 2007) and fascicles 8 to 14 of the 'Latinitatis medii aevi Lexicon Bohemorum' (covering the letters D-H). In all, the database now contains 23 dictionaries, covering the period from Classical Antiquity up to the Middle Ages, as well as a variety of geographic and thematic domains.

  • On 06/11/2019, the 'Library of Latin Texts – Series B’ has been updated
    As of November 2019, the “Library of Latin Texts – Series B” contains almost 49,3 million words in total on a collection of 6,920 works (5,804 of which are diplomatic charters). Some highlights in this update are the Carmina Burana, the Aurora by Petrus Riga, and the last part of the Summa aurea by William of Auxerre, along with works by Denis the Carthusian, Pope Innocent III, Wycliffe, Latomus, Erasmus, and Cardinal Bellarmino SJ.

    New database on Brepolis: Dictionnaire des philosophes antiques (beta version). The last five volumes are currently available (Eccélos-Zoticus). The remaining volumes will be published before the end of 2019.

  • On 25/07/2019, the 'Library of Latin Texts – Series B’ has been updated
    On 25/07/2019, the ‘Library of Latin Texts – Series B’ has been updated with the first part of the 'Summa aurea' by William of Auxerre, the 'Lectura super Sententias', a commentary on Peter Lombard by Walter Chatton, the translation by William of Moerbeke of the 'Tetrabiblos', Ptolemy's astrological handbook, the 'Cautio criminalis', the treatise against the trials for witchcraft written the German Jesuit Friedrich Spee etc. At present, the LLT-B contains a total of almost 46 million words spread over 6,877 works (including 5,804 diplomatic charters).
